ARTERRA WORKSHOP Of CLAY...
It is with a very personal style which combines tradition and modernity, that the Arterra workshop entered in 1996 the family of the santonniers. Since its creation, Arterra causes the enthusiasm of the collectors and opens in the world decoration with its "arlésiennes" and Provence dancers... Arterra also affirms its difference in the representation of the movement like in the harmony of the colors used. That they are traditional or of decoration, its let us santons are rich details as well in the moulding in painting. Entirely made out of clay and decorated with the hand, Arterra developed collections in 7cm, 12cm, 18cm and 30cm. The characters are also the subject of research and originality ("the fisherman with the torpedo ", the bastidane with its dress in boutis, "the woman with the picon"...)
